First-Year Astrology Certification Course: Ancient Astrology for the Modern Mystic, Nightlight Astrology

Over 12 months, learning about western astrology, philosophical and mystical roots of astrology, role of karma, fate, and free will in astrology, influence of modern depth psychology in astrology, and group chart readings.

New Territories with Wayne Holloway-Smith: An Intermediate and Advanced Workshop, The Poetry School

An 8 weeks intensive writing developmental course to expand the vocabulary of their practice.

Drawing upon Wayne Holloway-Smith’s experience as a prize winning poet and the editor of the UK’s leading poetry magazine, The Poetry Review, I am learning fresh techniques through mentorship and peer-feedback.

Contemporary Poetry Mentorship, Rachel Long

Since May 2024, I have been studying poetry under the guidance of Rachel Long, the founder of Octavia Poetry Collective for Women of Colour and the author of My Darling from the Lions.

Our collaboration is based on the production of my first collection, Rumana.

Poetry Writing Month: Truth or Dare, The Arvon Foundation

A one month programme with Victoria Kennefick and Rachel Long exploring themes of childhood, relationships, family, and the body.

Poetry and Theatre Residency, The Arvon Foundation

A one week residency with Inua Ellams and Rachel Long to learn different approaches to creating and writing theatre and poetry.

Arts plastiques, Université populaire européenne de Strasbourg France

A two year programme in different artistic practices: Watercolour, Sculpture, Illumination, Chinese Calligraphy, and Pastry Cooking.

Womb Alchemy, The Womb Mystery School

Participant at a shamanic arts school where I use modalities of the sacred feminine, ecological design thinking, nature-based rituals to co-create spaces of transformative healing.

The training is hybrid, including virtual courses run by Bryony Rose and other teachers, as well as in-person initiations such as pilgrimages and retreats.

Collaboratively designed rituals centred on communal art practices through reading, unpacking, and rewriting inclusive art narratives.

Women for Peace, Tim Parry-Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation

Supported women from diverse backgrounds to become more active citizens by exploring identity, prejudice, leadership, and peacebuilding.

Conflict Transformation and Social Justice, Queen’s University Belfast

Engaged in creative healing with Protestant and Catholic communities in Belfast, and studied frameworks of transitional justice, cross-border co-operation, intervention and integration, and research methods.
